APSIM Symposium
The APSIM Symposium is focusing on 3 areas:
1. Whole Farm, Crop and Livestock Modelling
2. Cutting Edge Software and Tools
3. Genotype, Environment, Management (GxExM)
The program is set to highlight key APSIM developments and related scientific success stories. The Symposium will also provide an update on the latest technology and innovations including the new work in APSIM Next Generation.
There will opportunities for networking throughout the day including a networking event at the end of the formal Symposium.
We will also highlight some of the commercial platforms which utilise APSIM and encourage current and future commercial parties to attend.
Paper submission for the 1 day Symposium has two deadline dates – those submitted by 15 December 2019 will have higher priority for speaking slots, those submitted by the final date of 15 January 2020 will be allocated to speaker or poster slots depending on availability. All submissions will be assessed for fit with the session theme and relevance to the audience and will be lightly reviewed (i.e.. for clarity and language). Presentation slot will be approx. 15 min in length, which should include time for one or two Q&As.
