What is CLEM?

The Crop Livestock Enterprise Model (CLEM) is a simulation model designed to help the user explore the outcomes of management actions on farming systems. The outcomes of any simulation will be influenced by the resources available, particularly when resources such as labour and capital are limiting. The model is designed to be flexible, and while aimed at small, family owned, farming systems (particularly in developing countries), it can be scaled to simulate quite different systems such as extensive beef systems on native pastures in northern Australia.
