Crop Livestock Enterprise Model (CLEM) is now in release

The Crop Livestock Enterprise Model (CLEM) has recently been released under the aegis of the APSIM Initiative. CLEM is a biophysical model which enables researchers in developed and emerging-economy countries to examine the effects at the farm scale of different management practices, and to assess the risk and variability of practices over the medium (10+ year) term. CLEM can be used to examine trade-offs between crops, livestock, labour and economic components of the farm business. CLEM has been developed out of the Northern Australian Beef Systems Analyser (NABSA) and the Integrated Assessment Tool (IAT) models. It uses a tree structure similar to APSIM and is user-friendly and easy to navigate.
