Features

The features outlined in this section include all the components with which to build your simulation tree. These include storing resources, performing activities, reporting output, and helping to control the flow of the simulation. These can be defined by the following categories:

  • CLEM component:ClosedThe main component for managing a simulation.
  • Resources:ClosedAll the resource stores used in the simulation.
  • Activities:ClosedAll the activities used to perform farming tasks and produce or consume resources.
  • Timers:ClosedTimers determine when an activity can be performed.
  • Filters:ClosedFilters are used to determine which individuals (ruminants and labour) can be applied to an activity.
  • Data readers:ClosedData readers access databases of production data for cropping and pasture.
  • Relationships:ClosedThe ability to provide mathematical relationship using x and y values.
  • Reporting:ClosedThe ability to summarise and report model output.
  • Transmutation:ClosedThis represents the CLEM approach of converting one resource into another. The most common example would be converting money into a limiting resource such as fodder.
