All ruminant animals on the farm.

This resource represents all ruminant animals on the farm regardless of species or breed. Individual breeds and species are defined by the Ruminant types that are placed under this component.

The following parameters are used to define this resource and are entered under the Properties tab in the user interface

This option determines how ruminant transaction will be presented by offering grouping in the Resource ledger report and Resource balances report. This option allows more detailed reporting of the breakdown of transactions, primarily expenses for all ruminants. For example, the Buy and sell ruminants activity would report the total amount earned or spent in the month, but you may need to identify these sales by animal class or the various price categories. The values of the RuminantTransactionsGroupingStyle are

All individuals are reported as a single group (default).

Individuals are grouped by the price group they relate to. This style will allow all individuals to be presented based on their pricing. The Animal pricing provided therefore gives the user the ability to identify these groupings.

Individuals are grouped by their class (e.g. calf, weaner, etc).

Individuals are grouped by their sex and class combined allowing the ability to diferentiate the sex in analysis.
