Finance

The Finance resource provides all finance to run the enterprise. This is made up of any number of FinanceTypes that can be thought of as bank accounts or lines of credit. Separate bank accounts can be used to help accounting for different activities on the farm, for example you may wish to separate the money earned by the women and men on the farm. It might also be useful to have a separate animal sales and cropping expenses accounts to track transactions rather than simply net values. You should note that transactions within a single account will be identified by the activity requesting them so this isn't absolutely necessary.

The following parameters are associated with this resource

Name of currency

This parameter supplies the name of currency used throughout the simulation. The model does not do any currency conversions and this is merely a label. Ensure all finance entries are in the same currency.

First month of financial year

This is the first month of the financial year used to report financial year in reports.
