A report of the various pasture pools across Graze food store type

Pasture is represented as pasture pools that degrade in quantity and quality over time. This report is used to present the amount of pasture and other measures in the various pools over time. This mimics some of the pasture output from the precursor IAT and NABSA models. This is an automated report and all settings are found in the properties section.

The following parameters are used to define this activity and entered under the Properties tab in the user interface

This switch will ensure all biomass based measures are reported relative to the area of the pasture

Pasture biomass is simulated in kilograms. This switch will ensure all biomass based measures are reported in tonnes.

The range of parameters in the "by pasture" category will determine which pasture measures are reported.

The following measures are available

  • Amount

  • Growth

  • Consumed

  • Detached

  • Nitrogen (%)

  • Dry matter digestibility (%)

  • Average pasture age in months

The range of parameters in the "by pools" category can be reported with a column for each pool age from 0 to 12 months with all greater than 12 months old combined with the 12 month age.

The following measures are available

  • Amount

  • Consumed

  • Detached

  • Nitrogen (%)

  • Dry matter digestibility (%)

This report will create a table in the output database with the same name as used in the simulation tree to describe this component.

The report is updated when the herd summary is calculated at the end of the time step.
