Ecological indicators report
A range of ecological indicators are either provided from pasture production simulations or calculated in CLEM. These can be reported to explore the implications of the grazing management on the pasture and related processes.


You will need to add an APSIM Report component to your simulation. In future we may develop an automated version of this report.
This example assumes the Graze food store is named "GrazeFoodStore" and we are interested in the pasture named "NativePasture".
Once this report is added you will need to assign the following settings.

[Clock].Today as Date
[Resources].GrazeFoodStore.NativePasture.CurrentEcologicalIndicators.GrassBasalArea as GBA
[Resources].GrazeFoodStore.NativePasture.CurrentEcologicalIndicators.LandConditionIndex as LandCondition
[Resources].GrazeFoodStore.NativePasture.CurrentEcologicalIndicators.Utilisation as Utilisation
The range of properties available in the CurrentEcologicalIndicators is:
GrassBasalArea, LandConditionIndex, Utilisation, StockingRate, Erosion, Runoff, Rainfall, Cover, TreeBasalArea, TreeCarbon and Perennials
You can add additional factors to report these values using the examples above.

[Resources].GrazeFoodStore.NativePasture.EcologicalIndicatorsCalculated
This special event occurs every time the pasture updates the state of its ecological indicators.

Run your simulation and the values for this pasture will be in the datastore with the same name as given to the report
