Specifies a food type to be included in purchases.

This component is used to define what food types are able to be purchased to help meet labour feed targets when insufficient food is available in current stores.

The following parameters are used to define this activity

This parameter points to one of the defined Human food store type. This entry is a drop down list of available Human food store types.

This proportion determines how much of this food type can be purchased as it limits it to a specified proportion of the remaining requirement to meet targets. This ensure that purchases can be spread across different food types as there is no other restriction on the amount to be purchased. This approach is required as the model does not have any knowledge of the food supply available at the time outside the farming system (or market)
