Lets say you sow on 1-apr, I found when you use an output frequency of "post" you get Day=1 in DaysAfterSowing, but if you do use an output frequency of "Sowing" you get Day=0 in DaysAfterSowing. This is correct because post output occurs at the end of the day that the crop was sown so there is one days worth of growth. The sowing output occurs at the start of the day, so on the day of sowing there has been no growth that day so the zero days worth of growth. With Ratooning, it goes straight to DaysAfterSowing=1 because if you look in the "SUGAR management" rule the harvesting occurs at the "start of day" tab. So it is harvested at the start of day on the day of harvesting, so there is a full days worth of growth before the "post" output at the end of the harvest day. I think that this is a timing issue with your output frequency and what event you do your sowing and harvesting in.

Perhaps this has something to do with when you whether you are outputting at the "start of day" or at the "end of day event".

In version 7 the Day of Planting has become Day=1 instead of Day=0. For sugar at least.
