Micromet is currently in fortran, Neil wants it in visual basic (.for -> .vb). Micromet is a penman monteith for multiple canopies one on top of the other. So it works out the light interception at various layers, and using these new radiation values it then does penman monteith on each layer and works out the overall waterbalance. Once you have finished converting it from fortran to vb, perhaps you should consider using the Shuttleworth/Wallace model to improve it. Ring up Jim Wallace and ask for help if you need it.  C:\Development\apsim\micromet

After New Zealand developers workshop, the point of this conversion is to convert it from using all the old apsim commuication and get it using the new DotNetComponentinterface. You will still need to learn the old way of communicating to be able to do the conversion from it to the new dot net way.
See "C:\Development\Shared\DotNetComponentInterface". Also look at "Slurp" as an example of the new Dot Net way.
