The colours are based on the name of the line node (under the graph node), and the Title used in the output file. The colours of two different lines however are not the same for lines with the same Title in the output file. Neil wants lines that have the same Title in the output file to have the same colour. This means that you can plot an observed line and a predicted line on the same graph and give them both the same title in their respective output files, and then have the graph automatically give them both the same colour. At the moment the predict and observed for the same experiment get given different colours and relies on the order of their variables on the y axis to make sure they are the same.

| Some .apsim files have graphs with dozens of series within graphs. When there is observed and predicted data series, it is best to use the same colours for both time series. However, the only way to do this currently is by ensuring that the series are in the same order. This is very difficult to ensure for large datasets. It would be good if the graph could use the same colour for series from different plots where the title is the same.
